'Twilight' soundtrack goes well with the movie's plot

"Twilight," the movie based on Stephanie Meyer's vampire romance book of the same name, is currently in theaters, coupled with an impressive soundtrack.
British rock band Muse opens the CD with "Supermassive Black Hole," a hypnotic musical trance that makes the collection of songs all the more inviting.
Mute Math takes the listener into a car that is going way over the speed limit in "Spotlight." The song offers a hyper tempo that sounds a lot like those of OK Go.
Collective Soul even contributes with "Tremble for My Beloved," the intro of which sounds like creaking doors and leads to lyrics like: "Your window's opened wide/ Your innocence takes flight," which could be alluding to the characters in "Twilight."
The last track is genuinely spooky: "Bella's Lullaby," written by Carter Burwell, is an entirely instrumental piece that not only offers a subtle eeriness but combines it with compelling moments of beauty.
One of the few downsides would be the two tracks by Paramore, which fit in well with the others on the album but didn't have anything new to add to the compilation.
Altogether, the soundtrack is cohesive and unique. But before you purchase it, it would be best to watch the movie--when you know the story behind them, the songs are that much better.
